Cox Internet Announces End of Web hosting for Members' Websites

Cox Communications has discontinued Personal WebSpace support for members using its high speed Internet service. This means that your website is no longer accessible by other members, or by people surfing the world wide web. In essence, Cox has "turned off" their member's webhosting service.

What does this mean for you?

Your website is no longer be viewable by members or web surfers. If you blog, post pictures, or have a website for your business, it will be "gone." The website has been deleted.

To clarify one issue, Cox e-mail services are not effected. So, while your website may be gone, you will still be able to send and receive Cox e-mail as usual.
